Seth Alan Burke

Seth Alan Burke, age 43, of Seymour, the beloved husband of Lesley Junko Burke, entered into rest on Tuesday, May 31, 2022 at his home. He was born in Naperville, IL on August 23, 1978, son of Karen Demetriades and Richard Burke. Seth absolutely loved English Premier League soccer, especially his favorite team Liverpool and also was a fan of the Boston Red Sox and the New England Patriots. He enjoyed hiking, gardening, spending time outdoors and listening to the music of the Grateful Dead and Nirvana. Seth had a kind heart and loved to help his neighbors and those close to him in any way that he could. Most of all, he loved to spend time with his wife Lesley, his dog Trot, his family and many friends. Seth will be sadly missed by all, but will remain forever in our hearts. His loving family, in addition to his beloved wife Lesley, includes his daughter Zoe Burke, his mother Karen Demetriades and her husband William, his father Richard Burke and his wife Michelle Macauda, his sisters Stacey Burke and Jessica Burke, his in laws George and Barbara Junko, his sister in law Karen Lombardi and her husband Michael and his two nephews Lucas LaCroix and Gavin Lombardi. A Celebration of Life Service in memory of Seth will be held later in the summer. All other services are private and will be held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts in Seth's memory may be made to the Connecticut Humane Society, 70 Russell Road, Newington, CT 06111.
