Anne Maher

Anne Christine Smith Maher, age 78, of Seymour, formerly of Orange, wife of the late David A. Maher, Sr., entered into eternal rest on Saturday, May 7, 2011 at Connecticut Hospice in Branford. She was born in New Haven on December 24, 1932, daughter of the late Thomas and Mary Morgan Smith. Anne was a former parishioner of Holy Infant Church of Orange. She was a resident of Seymour for the past 7 years. Anne was an avid homemaker who enjoyed spending time with her family and many friends. Her loving family includes her daughters Laura Fiedler and her husband Andrew of Oxford and Karen Maher of California, her son David A. Maher, Jr. of Massachusetts and her five cherished grandchildren Jesse Vogt, Rachel Vogt, Dana Vogt, Moorea Crippen and Kelly Sheffield. All services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
