Beryl Marie Fitzmorris

Beryl Marie Fitzmorris, age 92, of Seymour, formally of Stratford and Rumford, Maine, the beloved wife of the late Robert L. Fitzmorris Sr., entered into rest peacefully on Wednesday, August 3, 2016 at Shady Knoll Healthcare Center, Seymour surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Milford, Maine on August 6, 1923 daughter of the late Lewis and Elizabeth Wright Harris. Beryl was a longtime employee of Remington Shavers in Bridgeport, retiring in 1986 to her rustic home in Roxbury, Maine. The simple things in life brought Beryl great enjoyment. She loved cooking for family gatherings, spending time with her family and friends and treasured the time she spent with her grandchildren as a devoted grandmother. She will be sadly missed by all and will remain forever in our hearts. Her loving family includes her son Robert L. (Diane) Fitzmorris Jr., of Seymour, her daughter Judith (William) Ludecke of Southington, her brother Lewis Harris of Woodmont, her three cherished grandchildren, four great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by six sisters Ruth Whitney, Jeanette Lunden, Doris Harris, Margaret Worcester, Norma Hansen and Beatrice Vesterby. Services and burial will be held privately and at the convenience of the family.
