Charlotte Ann Koslowski

Charlotte Ann Koslowski, age 90, of Seymour, the beloved wife of 69 years of Louis Koslowski, entered into eternal rest peacefully on Saturday, September 30, 2017. She was born in Ansonia on April 6, 1927, daughter of the late Joseph and Hilma Bergquist Niezelski. Charlotte was a homemaker until her daughters entered high school. After that, she had several jobs, most notably working on the Assembly Line for Autoswage Products of Shelton. Charlotte loved to cook and sewed most of the kids clothes herself when they were younger. She enjoyed family vacations to Cape Cod and the Pennsylvania Dutch Area and loved reading mysteries, especially the gory ones. Charlotte will be sadly missed by her family and friends but will remain forever in our hearts. Her loving family in addition to her husband Louis includes her two daughters Joyce Koslowski and Carol Koslowski, her brother Thomas and Wanda Niezelski and several loving nieces and nephews. Charlotte was predeceased by her brothers Joseph Niezelski and Robert Niezelski and her sisters Alice Conroy and Lillian Swanat. A Funeral Service in Celebration of Charlotte's life will be held on Friday, October 6, 2017 at 9:30 am in the Chapel of the Miller-Ward Funeral Home, 260 Bank Street (Rt. 67, across from Klarides Village) Seymour with a Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 10:30 am at St. Augustine Church, 35 Washington Ave, Seymour. Interment in the family plot at St. Augustine Cemetery, Seymour will follow. Friends and relatives may call at the funeral home on Thursday, October 5, 2017 from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm.
