Gloria M. Brown

Gloria M. Brown, age 93, of Seymour, the beloved wife of 56 years to the late William Brown, entered into eternal rest peacefully on Friday, January 17, 2020 at her home, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in New York City on November 2, 1926, loving daughter of the late Rocco and Jeanette Deedy Sconone. Prior to her retirement, Gloria was a Hospital Administrator for the Down State Medical Center for many years. She loved to dance, play the slots and knew all the words to all the old songs, Gloria valued her friends, the old ones and the new ones from the Callahan House. Most of all, she cherished her time with her beloved family. Gloria will be sadly missed by all, but will remain forever in our hearts. Her loving family includes her son John Brown and his wife Mary, her daughter Kathy Bellucci and Dominick Bellucci, her cherished grandchildren Karen MacDavitt and her husband Sean, Anthony Bellucci and his wife Eva, Laura Brown and her husband Michael Apicelli and Nicholas Bellucci and Meghan Day and her cherished great grandchildren Connor, Kate and Charles. A Funeral Service in Celebration of Gloria's Life will be held on Tuesday, January 21, 2020 at 10:15 am in the Chapel of the Miller-Ward Funeral Home, 260 Bank Street (RT. 67, across from Klarides Village) Seymour. Interment in the family plot at Mountain Meadows Cemetery in Seymour will follow. Friends and relatives may call at the funeral home on Monday, January 20, 2020 from 3:00 pm until 7:00 pm.
