Jean L. Stevens

Jean L. Stevens, age 81, of Beacon Falls, formally of Milford, the beloved wife of the late Donald Stevens., peacefully entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, September 20, 2016 , at Griffin Hospital. She was born in Lincoln Hill, Pa., on August 26, 1935 the daughter of the late Eugene and Mildred (Wallack) Puchi. Jean was an avid homemaker. She enjoyed traveling with her late husband Donald. She will be sadly missed by her family and friends but will remain forever in their hearts. Jean is survived by her loving sister Georgianna and her husband Virgilio Correia of Beacon Falls, two sons George Gyorke and his wife Dolores of New Hampshire and Victor Mera and his wife Karen of Waterbury, a daughter Ruth Xavier of Vermont, several grandchildren, and several great-grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews. Jean was predeceased by her sister Sally Gyorke. A Graveside Service in Celebration of Jean's Life will be held on Thursday, September 29, 2016 at 1:00 pm (Directly) at Kings Highway Cemetery, 271 Cherry St., Milford.
