Joseph Burdo

Joseph Burdo, age 34, of Bridgeport, entered into rest peacefully on Tuesday, June 6, 2017. He was born in Bridgeport on November 8, 1982, beloved son of John Burdo of Bridgeport and Mary Keane of Ellsworth, Maine. Joe was very passionate about his career as an Ophthalmic Technician at Stamford Ophthalmology. He was a 2002 graduate of Ansonia High School where he played both football and baseball. Joe was an avid New York Yankees fan and loved watching their games. He was always the life of the party and took great joy in making others smile and laugh. Joe will be sadly missed by all but will remain forever in our hearts. His loving family in addition to his parents includes his two sisters Jennifer (Chris) Edwards of Seymour and Colleen Hogue of Oxford, his brother Randy Inman of Webster, New Hampshire, his niece Aly, his two nephews CJ and Ryan and several aunts, uncles and cousins. Joe was predeceased by his paternal and maternal grandparents. A Memorial Service in Celebration of Joe's Life will be held on Sunday, June 11, 2017 at 4:00 pm in the Chapel of the Miller-Ward Funeral Home, 260 Bank St. (RT 67, across from Klarides Village), Seymour. Visitation will be from 1:00 pm until the start of the service at 4:00 pm. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family.
