Josephine Machowski

Josephine (Jo) Donna Machowski, age 70, of Oxford, the beloved wife of 49 years to Edward J. Machowski , entered into eternal rest on Saturday, February 12, 2022 at her home with her loving family by her side. She was born in New Haven on March 20, 1951, the beloved daughter of the late Antimo and Louisa Will Pepe. Jo was a devout communicant of St. Thomas the Apostle Church. She was a longtime Realtor with Coldwell Banker and was a member of The Connecticut and National Associations of Realtors and The Valley Board of Realtors. She was a member of the Coldwell Banker Diamond Club. Jo enjoyed her real estate career for 35 years. Jo enjoyed puzzles and swimming in her free time, liked watching the UCONN girls basketball team, but most of all her time with her family and friends is what she loved the best. She will be sadly missed by all and will remain forever in our hearts. In addition to her beloved husband Ed, Jo's loving family includes her two loving daughters Sara Machowski and her husband Anthony Violano of Stratford and Alison Molyneux and her husband Christopher of Oxford, a caring brother Thomas Pepe and his wife Alfreda of Ansonia, a caring sister Cathy Pepe of Seymour, her two cherished grandsons Jack and Patrick Molyneux, as well as several nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial in Celebration of Jo's Life will be held on Thursday, February, 17, 2022 at 10:00 am DIRECTLY at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, 733 Oxford Road, Oxford. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family Friends and relatives may call at The Miller-Ward Funeral Home, 260 Bank Street (RT 67, across from Klarides Village) Seymour on Wednesday, February 16, 2022 from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts in Jo's memory may be made to Seymour Pink, through the funeral home. Cemetery Details Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family.
