Judith (Judy) Ann Daddio, age 75, of Oxford, the beloved wife of R. Richard Daddio, entered into eternal rest peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Thursday, June 9, 2016 after a long and courageous battle with breast cancer. She was born in Derby on October 23, 1940, beloved daughter of the late Thomas and Margaret Hartnett. Judy was a graduate of Ansonia High School class of '58 and a graduate of Stone Business School. Her best years were spent alongside her husband Richard throwing dinner parties for all their amazing friends, hosting summer picnics at their cottage, boating and traveling to the Bahamas and California. Her proudest moments came from watching her children and grandchildren grow. Judy will be remembered for her beautiful smile, warm demeanor and unforgettable laugh. She will be sadly missed by her family and many friends and will remain forever in their hearts. Her daughters will forever miss her daily 9am phone calls. Judy's loving family in addition to her husband Richard includes her beloved daughters Cheryl J. Smith and her husband Dwayne of Carlsbad, CA and Nancy E. St. John and her husband Kurt of Bethlehem, her caring nieces Lynn Kevalis and her husband Marty, Maureen Prewitt and her husband Marvin and Janet Fitol, her cherished grandchildren Madyson Rae Migliozzi-Smith and Tyler Richard Smith and several loving great nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her beloved sister Jeanne Fitol. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, June 17, 2016 at 10:00 am DIRECTLY at Church of the Assumption, 61 North Cliff Street, Ansonia. Interment will follow in the family plot at Mt. St. Peter Cemetery, Derby. Friends and relatives may call at the Miller-Ward Funeral Home, 260 Bank Street, Seymour on Thursday, May 16, 2016 from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm.
