Julio Cesar Quintanilla, 59, of Oxford, passed away unexpectedly on August 24, 2025.

Julio is survived by his devoted wife, Mollie, and his three beloved children. He is also survived by his uncle, Mark Rocconi (wife Diane), and many dear friends and extended family.

Born in Peru, Julio attended college in Boca Raton, Florida, before moving to New York, where he built a career in the photography industry with the MAC Group. There, he forged many lasting friendships and professional relationships. He later joined Visser Reels, where he was admired for his dedication to both the company and the customers he served. His colleagues and customers alike knew him as someone who cared deeply, worked tirelessly, and lived with integrity.

Above all, Julio was a family man. His wife, Mollie, was his partner and best friend and they cherished each other deeply. He lived to care for his children; nothing brought him greater joy than putting them on the bus each morning and watching them grow. At home, he could often be found tinkering in the garage, fixing anything and everything, or working on his cars. He loved tending to his garden, especially his cherished blueberry bushes, and spending quiet moments watching the raptors soar over the Connecticut countryside.

Julio's love for family and community was evident in all that he did. He will be remembered for his devotion, his curiosity, and his kindness. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

Friends and family may call between the hours of 4:00 - 7:00 pm at Miller & Marcari Funeral home, followed by a memorial service at 7:30 pm.
