Leroy R. Siksay

LeRoy Richard Siksay, age 69, of Seymour, entered into eternal rest peacefully on Sunday, August 13, 2023, at Yale New Haven Hospital surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Bridgeport, July 13, 1954, the beloved son of the late Richard and Mary (Grandfield) Siksay. LeRoy was a devout communicant of St. Augustine Church of Seymour. He received his associate degree in business from Sacred Heart University in Fairfield. For many years he was the Buyer-Purchaser for Eaton Corporation and Honeywell Corporation, was also the business owner of Budget Blinds of New Fairfield. LeRoy loved to refurbish antique furniture. He enjoyed traveling, especially to Mystic, CT., and Port Jefferson. LeRoy was a devoted family man and especially loved spending time with his beloved family. He will be sadly missed by all but will remain forever in our hearts. His loving family includes his loving daughter Mary G. Siksay ( Tonia Kaindoli) of Seymour, his caring sons Brian L. Siksay of Stratford and Jonathan L. Siksay of Seymour, two beloved brothers Stephen Siksay of Virginia and Richard Siksay of Naugatuck, a loving sister Lorraine Godfrey of Naugatuck, two cherished granddaughters Mya and Brianna Siksay of Stratford and several loving nieces and nephews. LeRoy was predeceased by his three beloved sisters Judy Santone, Maureen Groballi and Mary Siksay. A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial in Celebration of LeRoy's life will be held on Saturday, August 26, 2023 (Directly) at 10:00 am at St. Nicholas Parish-St. Augustine Church, 35 Washington Ave., Seymour. There will be no calling hours. Inurnment will be held privately at the convenience of the family. Memorial gifts in LeRoy's memory may be made to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Pl., Memphis, TN., 38105 or through the funeral home.
