Mariana Delgado Ayerve, age 71 of Seymour, the beloved wife of the late Lenin A. Ayerve ,entered into rest on Wednesday, March 22, 2023 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Quito, Ecuador on February 17, 1952 . the daughter of the late Emilio and Otilia (JiJon)Delgado. Mariana was a longtime and dedicated Machine Operator having worked for Schick Co. in Milford prior to her retirement. She was an avid homemaker, who everybody loved. To know her was to love her. But most of all she adored and loved being with her kids and grandchildren. Mariana will be sadly missed by all but will forever remain in our hearts. Mariana's loving family includes her two loving daughters Scarlett Ayerve-Iff of Orange and Sharon Ayerve of Seymour her caring son Lenin A. Ayerve, Jr. of Seymour, her three cherished grandchildren Joseph "Joey" Ayerve, Carolyna Alexis-Iff and Mykaila Meuni&egraver. Also feeling her loss are her two loving brothers Jaime JiJon and his wife Carmen of Ft. Meyers, Fl., and Arturo Delgado and his wife Mariana of Panama, Panama and her two caring sisters Carmen R. (JiJon )Gavilanes and her husband Fernando of Quito, Ecuador and Silvana Ruiz of Shelton, her aunt Raquel Maya of Seymour and her cousins Fabian D. Sosa,Jason Lee Sosa, Nico Sosa, Charles Sosa, Jackie Grant-Jijon, Stephanie Macon, Christopher Jijon, Francoise Rivero, Stephen Gomez, Diego Alexis Maya, Vanessa Maya, Michaela Maya, Marcos Ayerve, Eddie Ayerve, Vladimiir Ayerve, Mauri-cio Pallares, Ramiro Pallares, Belen Pallares, Juan Carlos Delgado, Karina Delgado, Chris-tian Gavilanes, Byron Gavilanes, Daniel Gavilanes, Ana Karina Ayerve. Paulina and An-gelo De La Cruz. She was predeceased by a sister Silvana JiJon. A Celebration of Mariana's Life will be held on Sunday, March 26, 2023 at 4:00 pm in the chapel of the Miller-Ward Funeral Home, 260 Bank Street (RT. 67, across from Klarides Village), Seymour with the Reverend Will-Roger Malvae, officiating. Friends and family may call at the funeral home on Sunday from 2:00 pm until 4:00pm. Interment will be held at the convenience of the family.
