Mary Deangelis

Maria (Mary) Pisani DeAngelis, age 90, of Seymour, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, November 22, 2022 at Shady Knoll Health Care Center. She was born in Beacon Falls, Ct., on April 12, 1932 the daughter of the late Louis and Raffaela Colavolpe Pisani. Mary was a devout communicant of St. Augustine Church of Seymour. She enjoyed watching UCONN Girls Basketball, doing crossword puzzles and was an avid reader. Most of Mary loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Mary will be sadly missed by her family and friends. Mary's loving family includes her four loving children Debra Aldo of Seymour, Andrea (Raymond) Veronneanu of Bethany, John (Susan) DeAngelis of Seymour and Christian (Virginia) DeAngelis of Oxford, her ten cherished grandchildren, her six cherished great-grandchildren and several loving nieces and nephews. Mary was predeceased by her beloved grandson Ronald Aldo, Jr., and seven brothers and a sister. Friends and relatives may greet the family on Saturday Morning, December 3, 2022 at The Miller-Ward Funeral Home, 260 Bank Street (RT 67, across from Klarides Village) Seymour from 8:00 am until 9:30am. A Funeral Service in Celebration of Mary's life will follow at 9:30 a.m. in the Chapel of The Miller-Ward Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10:00 am at St. Augustine Church of St. Nicholas Parish, 35 Washington Ave, Seymour. Interment in the family plot will follow in St. Augustine Cemetery Seymour. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made in Mary's memory to St. Augustine Church of St. Nicholas Parish Improvement Fund, through the funeral home.
