Raymond M. Piazza

Raymond M. Piazza, age 66, of Stratford, passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 15, 2026.

Born on April 26, 1960, in Bridgeport, the son of Frank Piazza and the late Mary Ann (Messina) Piazza. 
Ray was a talented carpenter, known not only for his craftsmanship but also for his warm spirit and zest for life. Graduating from Platt Technical School, he carried with him the values of hard work and dedication, which he embodied throughout his life.

Ray had a profound love for the outdoors, he was often found basking in the sun, accompanied by the timeless tunes of "The Stones". He enjoyed family picnics, where he would always be the last to leave, savouring every moment spent with his loved ones. His kind spirit, quiet presence and smile were a comforting constant to all who knew him. Ray will be deeply missed by all but will forever hold a cherished space in our hearts.

Ray leaves behind his beloved father, Frank and his longtime companion Wilma, and his brothers, Frank and his wife Nancy, Jack and his wife Theresa, Mark and his wife Toni. His sister, Lynn and her husband Doug, and is lovingly remembered by his six nieces and nephews, Alisha, Cheryl and her husband Eric, Lisa, Jack Jr., Frankie, Elia and Sophia, along with his six cherished great-nieces and great-nephews Hunter, Zane, Vienna, Harlow, Nora and Celine.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 am on Monday, August 24, 2026 St. Mark R.C. Church, 500 Wigwam Lane, Stratford. Interment will be held privately by the family.
