Renata P. Cairl

Renata Pauline "Chickie" Cairl, age 76, of Oxford, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, February 8, 2023, at Griffin Hospital. Renata was born in Austria, on June 12, 1946, the daughter of the late John and Louise Vrhovec. Renata was an avid homemaker. She enjoyed gardening, birds and feeding stray animals and her bottle of Amaretto. Renata most of all loved to spend time with her family. She will be sadly missed but will forever remain in our hearts. Renata's loving family includes her beloved daughter Patricia Rodriguez of Oxford, a caring sister Ursula (Gunther) Naumann of Newtown, two loving grandchildren Jessica (Arthur) Powell of Oxford and John Rivera of Oxford, two cherished great-grandchildren Kendall and Hudson Powell, a caring nephew Peter (Kiersten) Naumann and two great-nephews Connor and Reid Naumann. She was predeceased by her love Nicholas Mastriano, Sr. Friends and relatives may greet the family on Friday, February 17, 2023, from 4pm - 6pm at the Miller-Ward Funeral Home, 260 Bank St. (RT.67, Across from Klarides Village) in Seymour, CT. A Memorial Service will follow at 6:00 pm with Reverend Thomas Cieslikowski, Pastor of St. Nicholas Parish, officiating. Interment will be held privately at the convenience of the family. Memorial donations may be made in Renata's memory to The Connecticut Humane Society or St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, through the funeral home.
