Richard M. Neubauer

Richard M. Neubauer, age 40, of Seymour, the beloved son of Richard and Cindy.Neubauer, passed away on Monday, September 12, 2022. Rick was born in Bridgeport, Ct. on April 24, 1982. As a young child, Rick Neubauer had a passion for football and the extraordinary skills to match his enthusiasm. By the time he was grown, he stood a full 6 foot 6 inches tall, a "gentle giant," as he was affectionately known. He loved the Raiders, Steve Harvey, and his favorite food was anything in volume! As the firstborn to Richard and Cindy Neubauer, Ricky proudly welcomed a new sibling every 3 years until they were a family of 6. His brother, Eric, followed by Brian and then his sister, Taylor. He recently discovered a love for growing and taking care of household plants. He was very proud to have brought one back to life and he enjoyed nurturing it. He took pleasure in showing family and friends how much it grew. For decades he was passionate about self-discovery and rehabilitation. His dearest wish was to be of service to others who walked the same path as his own. "Little" Ricky, as he was affectionately known in a family chock full of Richards, is predeceased by his paternal grandparents, Richard Alan and Patricia Ann Neubauer as well as his maternal grandparents, Gerald F. and Joan I. Buchert. He is survived by his parents, Richard Neubauer and Cindy Neubauer, his brother Eric Neubauer and his wife, Natasha, his brother Brian Neubauer and wife, Rachel, his sister Taylor Neubauer and her husband, Bryan Sarmiento, his daughter, Faith, and countless aunts, uncles, cousins, friends.
