Sharon L. Scheithe, age 74, of Beacon Falls, CT, devoted wife and mother of three sons, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, April, 4, 2021. She was born Sharon Lee Holmes on December 26, 1946 in Waterbury and was raised in Plymouth, CT by John R. And Hazel (Potter) Holmes. Sharon graduated from St. Mary's nursing school in 1967 and worked as an operating room nurse after graduation. She married Eugene Scheithe of Beacon Falls, CT, and this past September they celebrated 50 years together; Gene preceded her in death on January 5th, 2021. Sharon was a dedicated mother and treasured the countless hours spent driving to/from school and activities with her boys. She devoted her life to her husband and sons, giving up her nursing career to raise her sons and help her husband with his business, Gene's Autobody. She cherished every moment spent with her grandchildren coloring, playing house, creating play dough food, and sitting at the kitchen table talking about what they were doing in school, hobbies, or sports. Grandma Sharon is now their Guardian Angel protecting and guiding them from above. Sharon loved each of her family pets (Q-pon, Zeb, Coach, Scooter, Tina, Leery, and Tasha) passionately and enjoyed tending to her kitchen plants. She was highly skilled with knitting needles and crotchet hooks and loved to knit blankets for her sons, grandchildren, friends, and for donating. Sharon will be dearly missed and forever remembered by family and friends; we are forever grateful to have known her love. She is survived by two sons and their wives, John and Angela Scheithe of Owensboro, KY and Donald and Julie Scheithe of Oxford, CT; her three granddaughters Alex, Katie, and Sofya and her grandson Pierce. Sharon was predeceased by her cherished son Robert Thomas Scheithe. Her greatest pleasure was the time she spent with her sons and grandchildren - followed closely by her love of chocolate. Sharon is also survived by two sisters Barbara Watson of Plymouth, CT and Carol Tardif of Augusta, ME; two nieces, Nicole Tardif and Corie (Ryan) Tyrol; four nephews, Michael Watson, Steven (Jody) Watson, Brian (Heather) Watson, and Robert (Arlene) Tardif; and very close friends Char Kelly and Diana Parady. The family would like to extend special gratitude to all of the caregivers, home health care aids and physical therapists who spent time with The Scheithe's over the past few years. Their patience and kindness was much appreciated and will not be forgotten.
